      Definition:

     stress is a state of emotional and physical behavior caused by difficult situations. 

Stress is widespread nowadays. Whenever our body deals with some harsh situation our emergency system called fight or flight is active. It is also called a fight or flight system. It helps us to cope with hard situations.

Types of stress: 

        There are two types of stress: eustress which is positive stress and distress which is negative stress.

Eustress: 

      Eustress is a positive stress that helps us with daily challenges like School problems, office work, and personal life. It gives us happiness and enjoyment. For example, when you are driving a car or doing art you feel better and happy, this is also eustress. It is the response to happiness. We can also define eustress as all-over normal functions done by eustress. 

Distress:

      Distress is a negative sign of stress and it disturbs your life routine. You are overwhelmed by stress and cause distress. It can harm your mood and physical appearance. It also affects your daily routine. For example, school problems and work problems activate distress that changes your mood and look. When you are distressed you feel uncomfortable and for this reason, you distract from your work. It is important to recognize distress and take steps to manage it, such as seeking professional help or engaging in stress-reducing activities like exercise or meditation.

 

This is very necessary to know about the types of stress. Stress not only affects our minds but also damages our physical look. That’s why it’s important to understand the symptoms of stress.

         Whenever you are stressed, your body releases some hormones that manage your stress like norepinephrine that cope with stress. These hormones can trigger a variety of emotional and physical responses.
